Why It Exists

Show information is buried across dozens of venue pages, Facebook events, and word of mouth. There has never been one place to look.

A visitor with a free evening cannot easily discover that world class jazz is happening three blocks from their hotel. Small rooms and working musicians lack a central, trusted channel to reach the audience already hunting for live music.

The result is a thriving scene that is hard to discover, for locals and visitors alike.

What It Is

One live map for jazz across greater Milwaukee. MKE Jazz Live gathers venue listings and direct submissions from across the metro into a single, daily updated schedule.

Filter by date, by venue, or by neighborhood. Free and ticketed shows are labeled so you can plan a spontaneous set or book a marquee night. Add a show to your calendar or set a reminder.

Independence

Listings are not for sale. A show appears on the calendar because it is happening, not because anyone paid to put it there.

Partners fund and promote the work. They do not decide what appears on the schedule, and MKE Jazz Live is not owned by or operated on behalf of any venue or promoter.

Adding a show, correcting a listing, or telling us about a venue we have missed all go through the same place: the Submit a Show form. Each submission is reviewed before it goes live, and you get an email when it is approved.
